…Introduction to the Devout Life is fine for “sitting in the 1380 am booth at the fair” reading. HOWEVER, it is terrible “take the kids to the pool” reading! I read a terrible hokey “Christian romance” novel at the pool last year. It was really a waste of paper, but I got it free in the mail one day, so I read it. Read the whole thing too! Terrrible waste of paper.
I have over 3,000 books in my house…yet…you guessed it…nothing to read. *sigh* At least nothing fluffy enough to be “good” by the pool!
Going to the pool is not one of my favorite past-times. My kids love it though. Don’t most kids?! If I must, I must. So I want a decent book to read. My idea of a good poolside book is The DaVinci Code. Forget about all of the controversy and whatever that people want to put around it. It was still a very easy and enjoyable read by the pool a couple of years ago.
I’m not really asking for suggestions. I’m sure I’ll fine something around here somewhere. Like I said, I have 3,000 to choose from!
